Fashion // Jewellery Love

I’ve always been an accessories kinda girl. In my teens it was bags, now in my late twenties it’s bags and jewellery.       Across the body bags that double up as a clutch are my evening go-to and this one is pretty darn easy to wear. In summer I love to go bright with my clothes so my jewellery is quite muted.  Black, silver and rose gold tones are my go-to’s.  What I’m wearing –  Across body bag – Primark Ring – ASOS Rose gold bracelet – Micheal Kors

Fail-Safe Fashion Fix

Is it just me or are we seriously due some sunshine now?! The on-off again snow season and dreaded rain is making me crave a little Vitamin D in the form of sunny skies and warmer weather. This year my birthday falls on the 2nd, yes 2nd we are lucky this year, May Bank Holiday and V Fest and Glastonbury are both in the dairy and firmly booked off work, so naturally my thoughts turn to updating my wardrobe for Summer. Obvs. As a self-confessed shopaholic I am trying my hardest not to buy new clothes and wear what I already have, but no one said anything about jewellery. Now, I am alls about rings and they are part of my going-out fail-safes, but I quite like the idea of dressing up an old t-shirt with a statement necklace or wearing bold earrings when I wear my hair up. So having a little nosey on Season Online Jewellery has defo got me thinking how I spruce up my old Summer clothes without looking like I’ve …

Shop Dixi: Hello newbies

Last week I did a post here on jewellery and more importantly, my love for rings and with all the snow on the ground, I don’t know about you but I’m just yearning for Spring to hurry up! I want to be able to wear ballet flats, fitted jackets and minus a million layers, oh and add many, mnay more rings to my ever-growing collection! I’ve been a fan of Dixi for a while as they have a gorgeous collection of jewellery. I know in the blogging world, sometimes a product comes along and everyone jumps on the bandwagon, and I hold my hands up, I’m included in that. But when it comes to jewellery I think its personal taste and reflects you and your personality. But Dixi has such a gorgeous range, they’ve made being unique, easy. I seem to discover all my fave shops through Twitter these days, what can I say, I must follow a fashionabe bunch! Dixi’s latest collection set to land online this Sunday, 27th January, and with these beauties set to …

If you like it put a ring on it….

In the past couple of years my love of jewellery has really blossomed. I wear my trusty charm necklace everyday as I feel it makes me ‘me’. It doen’t hold much monetary value, but dear sentimental value instead.  I was given it on my 21st birthday by my bestie with a simple silver and gold heart and over the past 4 years I have added to it. A greek eye to ward off evil and offer protection, a Tinkerbell charm from my holiday to Florida with my 3 besties that same year and a graduation hat from my mum when that day came. But, other than that very necklace, my second love are rings. I have built up quite a collection of cocktail rings and a gorgeous jade stone vintage ring I got for Christmas and with January being a slow month, ya’know fashion wise, I have found myself looking at and lusting after jewellery instead…

Prairie Charms- Blogger Project

So a couple of weeks ago I was approached by Prairie Charms to see if I would like to take part in their blogger project. I was intrigued by this on two counts- one because I love intricate, delicate bracelets. I’m not a blingy-kinda gal, I love wooden colourful bracelets I can wear everyday. And two I find it really interesting seeing how companies, from the high st down to e-commerce sites, work with bloggers and embrace a new outlet to showcase their products to the fullest potential. So, after checking out the site and falling in love with two bracelets I tweeted Prairie Charms (see, social is blates the way forward!) with the two I wished to order 🙂 The customer service from the company was great. The thing I love about companies using Twitter to interact is, many of us have the app on our phones so it is an everyday essential and one of the easiest ways to get in touch by cutting out the middle-man service- email and the waiting game! …
