October has flown over and I’m back with another month of favourite things.
A few weeks ago I was kindly gifted a couple of masks from Brilliant Masks. A company who have reacted to the pandemic and collaborated with Alder Hey Children’s Charity to make comfortable, breathable masks. They wash really well and I love the rainbow print of this mask. Would highly reccomend checking them out.
I’ve got a separate blog post planned about our walks. This year we’ve upped our weekend walks in the sense that we walk for far longer than we did previously and anywhere with open fields and peace and quiet is our jam. When did we get so old?!
We’ve invested in proper outdoor clothes this year and Molls does us very proud doing 5/6 mile walks. Not too shabby for a French Bulldog!
After my mini three month retirement earlier this year I’ve been back in work since the end of June and its flown. Working from home before I left my old job and WFH since starting my new one, little work perks and sweet treats have been a great way to stay motivated and give myself mini wins each week!
My ‘no longer not so new’ work is very generous indeed often sending treats to employees, which is were the treat box at the top came from. How I got so lucky to end up in a job that’s so caring about staff, I’ll never know. Secured during lockdown part 1, no less!
The flowers are a weekly addition to the food shop. I work at our dining table and having flowers in front of me brightens up my ‘desk’!
Lastly, I was sent a PR sample of Body and Botanics CBD chocolate. I’ve been having a square each night with a hot chocolate. I wasn’t expecting CBD infused dark chocolate to be so rich and good quality. I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
