I miss make up. It’s official. We’re at the stage of lockdown where I’ve perfected my skincare routine and my hair has grown (if you missed that post, you can read it here) but I now miss playing and applying bouji make up. I love it when, in normal life, I have plans at the weekend when I can get dressed up and spend a little longer on my make up and try something new.
I love to play with colour as I always wear brown/pink/orange eyeshadow but I want to start wearing greens and golds in real life, so I thought I’d have a play around.
I had a look on Instagram at beauty/make up accounts that I like to follow to get some inspo and after watching a couple of tutorials from Josie Peaches and Jamie Genevieve, I used a v v old Make Up Revolution to have a go myself and attempted a cut crease with a creamy/beige lid to compliment the bold green.
The palette I used was super old so I would love to invest in a new palette or a couple of matte green eyeshadows as the ones I used for this look after far too shimmery IMO.
