AD | Liberte, Brunswick Street, Small Plates Menu Review

Remember when we were all in our twenties and every weekend signaled a night out. Whether you were ‘out out’ or just out, something was in the diary with your best girls and guys.

Well it turns out once you hit your thirties, trying to arrange a night out with members in attendance is hard bloody work. But fear not, it can be done. Simply juggle the diaries of five women, two babies and a further five fellas at home who don’t seem to remember that their beloved is disappearing for one night only, and you will find yourselves in a bar or restaurant in town, ordering prosecco by the bottle. As if it’s on draft.

And that’s how we found ourselves in Liberte on a Friday night. It may have taken around 6 weeks to organise, but the lovely team at Liberte invited all of us in to review (blogger mates make the best mates) and fun was had by all.

Liberte is like Neighbourhood in the sense that it’s bar/restaurant/club vibes. Small plates, flowing drinks and a banging DJ soundtrack. Which is ideal when five women wanna catch up and chat about e v e r y t h i n g.

We opted for two small plates each –

– King Prawns with Avocado

– Vegetable Spring Rolls

Ample portion sizes and with 2 for 1 cocktails before 8pm, the dishes accompanied a Pina Colada and a Whitley Neil gin and slim perfectly.

Liberte also have the infamous igloo pods on the rooftoo for the lead up to Christmas. Cosy sparkling igloo pods, complete with blankets and a gorgeous view of the Three Graces and city skyline. Gorgeous and worth booking in for festive nights out!
