5 Things I Loved During Summer 2019

1. Hen do times in Newcastle for this gal. A whirlwind weekend in Newcastle meant a non stop three days of prosecco drinking, boat rides and nonstop lols. Next stop, the aisle!

This summer has been rather lovely – a fab mix of spending time with friends and enjoying my home. I’ve spent the entire summer at home in Liverpool but I’m not mad about it as I’ve had some great days in the city with the girls, cooking at home and enjoying our garden. A weekend in Newcastle also took place to round off the end of August and all in all, it’s been a good one.

This month in numbers –

1. Hen do in Newcastle

2. Shopping thrifty

3. Reviewing Neighborhood and having a fab night out with the gyaldem

4. Collaborating with Femme Luxe Refinery again

5. Blogger brunch dates in Sefton Park and shopping on Lark Lane

I worked with Femme Luxe Refinery again this month, so here’s a rundown of my outfits that were #gifted –

Khaki Lounge Wear Set

T shirts and co-ord sets

2. Shopping thrifty. I spent a weekend visiting the charity shops on Allerton Road and found loads of fab bargains, including this spot print bodysuit from Very. Such a good find and I’m sold my shopping second hand.
3. The lovely team at Neighbourhood invited me along to review their Thursday night offering #NotGoingHome I have a full review up, which you can read, but it’s such a good night and the best way to get your group to gang together.
4. I collaborated with Femme Luxe Refinery again this month and snapped up a couple of new bits to add to my wardrobe, prior to my no spend challenge. This tee and the khaki lounge suit below are my faves and I’ve had so much wear out of them already.
5. Park Life
I spent one very hot Saturday in Sefton Park with the girl gang, taking some fab blog photos and going for a much needed brunch. Such a lovely way to spend a Saturday and so good to explore Lark Lane – especially as it’s on my doorstep!

Let's catch up
