When I see a new restaurant has opened in town, if it’s dog friendly, we’re there. That is one major box ticked. But when somewhere ticks alll the boxes, it fast becomes a new fave. Enter Bundobust on Bold Street.
The Indian Street food restaurant opened its third venue in Liverpool, joining Leeds and Manchester by opening up on Bold Street last month.
They invited Darren & I along to try the menu and when I spotted on Instagram that it’s dog friendly, it meant Molly could come along too.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm and it wasn’t too busy so it meant we could park ourselves in a quiet corner so Moll could lay under the table at our feet as we ate.
With it being a sunny Sunday afternoon, we chose from the mocktail menu – Mango Lopez and Bundo Crush. Both delicious and thirst quenching.
Onto the food! We opted for the combo for tow for £25.50 plus a couple of extras;
Okra fries, onion, broccoli and kale bhajis, Bundo chat, masala dosa, Tarka dhal and rice, paneer and mushroom tikka and paneer Kadai.
Sounds like a lot but each portion was idea for sharing and quite different in taste and flavour. Having a full vegan/veggie menu was great for us being non-meat eaters and we had the entire pick of the menu, the dream!
You have the option to take home any leftovers, not that we had any demolishing the lot!
The serve was fast, we didn’t feel rushed and the large space and open plan design meant we could sit and enjoy our food with Molly at one r feet without worrying about interrupting anyone else’s meal.
Bundobust, we will return again!
