We’ve all watched the YouTube videos, super fast getting dressed IG videos and read blog posts about outfits worn in a week, that sometimes appear to be a little less than practical.
Whilst I would love to be running round in heels every day, heading out in just a jacket and dressing to the nines on the daily, sadly I’m not. I’m either on dog walks with a stash of poo bags in my pocket or I’m in work, swearing blind about cold air con and feeling less than glam sat at my desk all day.
So, welcome to my outfits in a week – the reality check addition.
Date Night Vibes
Dressing for date night is my fave. I get to spend a little longer doing my hair, my make up and choosing my outfit. Gone are the mini dresses of my early twenties, and in are midi dresses, trousers and jeans to my wardrobe. I’ve been working with Femme Luxe Refinery recently and I was v kindly gifted a selection of items to breathe new life into my wardrobe.
This beaut snake print biker jacket is v ‘on trend’ but so easy to wear thanks to its grey print. Bringing sass levels to South Liverpool, I paired it with my faaave skinny jeans from River Island, purple Primark heels and a redy, orange coloured bodysuit. Yep, I was feelin’ maself. No shame in admitting that here!
Dog Walking Chic
I love just getting outdoors with Darren and Molly on a dog walk. The sunshine was a welcome bonus. But dog walk’s don’t have to be padded jacket and plazzy trousers. I love a colourful knit and this cosy, snuggly bright pink roll neck is perf for wearing with my leggings and walking boots. Yep, I’ve made the investment in walking boots and my feet are thanking me for it!
Ghetto Golf Blogger Event
Last week I headed along to the faaab Pink Media and Ghetto Golf bloggers and influencers event. The venue is fab for getting those #instagoals photos for the gram and it’s such a good laugh. Coupled with some of my favourite faces from the Liverpool Blogging scene and many different alcoholic beverages, we had a laugh!
I wore another Femme Luxe Refinery knit, this slouchy off the shoulder jumper in yellow is super cosy and looks fab, thanks to the oversize batwing sleeves.
I threw it on with my Primark stonewash mom jeans, a belt and pink trainers. Oh so comfy for working our way around the golf course and I like how this outfit looked and felt on; defo gonna be styling this up again!
