Life lately has been busy. Manic, in fact. Whilst I do plan to talk in full about everything that’s been going on (if you follow me over on Instagram, you’ll see we bought a house and got engaged. Yep). Whilst our move is still on-going, I thought I’d check-in and share what I’ve been up to in April across Liverpool! We’ve moved to South Liverpool so with a new house comes a new area to explore, dog walks to try and restaurants to eat at. Throwing our 30th birthdays into the mix too, it’s all go. Things and places I’m loving lately The Florist Unless you’ve been under a rock recently, you must have spotted the latest opening in Liverpool city centre. The Florist is beautifully decorated making it an Instagrammers dream. We went along to try their Sunday Roast, which was spot on. You can read my full post about The Florist in Liverpool here. Hale Village Coastal Walks We’ve moved house not far from Hale Village. Tucked away in one of the most southerly points of Liverpool and close to the Runcorn bridge, Hale Village is simply gorgeous. Thatched roof houses, a proper country pub and a fab walking path from Hale Village to Speke, it’s defo going to be our new weekend route when walking Molly the Frenchie. Vogue Hair & Beauty Lounge Our engagement was a total surprise. We hadn’t even discussed getting engaged, so I was in complete shock when it happened. And, I hadn’t had my shellac done in about 5 weeks so my nails looked just about presentable to show off my gorgeous new ring. So, I booked a Treatwell appointment at Vogue Hair & Beauty Lounge on Old Hall Street to get my nails done. A much-needed lunchtime pamper! Groupon Birthday Pressies As I mentioned earlier, April & May bring mine and Darren’s 30th birthdays. As it’s a big one and he’s popped the question I wanted to spoil him. He’s always talking about how he’d love to go on a driving experience day, so I found a deal for a Supercar track day. He wasn’t expecting it and is excited to go! I really recommend checking out Groupon’s top things to do in Liverpool!
