Beauty // March Favourites

I don’t know about you, but this year I’ve been waiting for the Easter break and long weekend to creep up on us. Whilst the working weeks seem to fly by, waiting months between time-off work and bank holidays seems to drag. I’ve booked some annual leave for the week after Easter, taking full advantage of the shorter working weeks.

As excited as I am to hopefully receive an Easter egg or two, if you’re in the mood for treating yourself to a little shopping splurge or two, here are my New In top picks for March!

Tangle Angel Brushes

A good quality hairbrush is something we take for granted, but you forget how much you need one until you attempt to brush out the corkscrew curls that you decided to do the night before cos you were bored. Tangle Angel brushes don’t just look good, thanks to the gorge design but this is one sturdy brush. No need to begin cutting this one out your hair!

Look Good Feel Better Make Up Brushes

If you enjoy painting your face on and don’t usually feel human unless you’ve got concealer, mascara and a slick of lippie on as an absolute minimum, makeup brushes are a great shout!

I’m not yet converted to the ways of sponges for my foundation, as I generally know where am I with a brush and washing my brushes is such a chore…I’ll admit, it’s not something I do as often as I should.

I was really introduced to the Look Good Feel Better range of make up brushes and oh wow. The anti-bacterial brushes set includes 4 brushes –

  • A large multi-tasking brush
  • Round foundation brush
  • Eye shading brush
  • Lip brush

Complete with a pink pouch to store inside and keep clean, I’m converted. I’ve been using the foundation brush to apply my new Maybelline Fit Me foundation holy grail and the eye shadow brush to blend.

Shop Look Good Feel Fantastic brushes.

Olverum Bath Oils

Ok, a little indulgence never hurt anyone. When the lovely team over at Olverum got in touch, introducing their bath oil collection, I was listening. I’ll admit, I opt for a bath about twice a week to unwind, relax and put my fanciest bath products to good use.

Olverum bath oils are new to me but just what I’m looking for in the relaxation stakes. Made from a blend of natural essential oils, I could smell these as I was opening the packaging – very aromatic and soothing. You only need to add a couple of drops to your bath because it’s enough to make a difference!

I think the brand would make a fantastic gift idea for your Mum or mates who love to indulge in a bath every now and again!
