Fashion // Three Failsafe Date Night Outfits

Getting dressed up to head out for dinner, drinks or both is my fave kinda date night. Gone are the days of going ‘out out’ and heading to a club, combine food and cocktails are the opportunity to spend a few hours getting ready (easily the best part of the night) and I’m a happy gal.
When it comes to dressing for date nights, there are various different outfits I go through before I’ve found ‘The One’. Sometimes all-out glam is the way, think dress, heels and my brightest red lipstick. Other days, I’m all for comfort and want to wear a slouchy dress, flat boots but still feel put together.
So, I thought I’d share with you three new additions to my wardrobe from Tobi that are ideal for date night. Whether it’s your first date together or 100th visit to your favourite restaurant, my three go-to outfits are pretty failsafe!

The Sexy Maxi Dress

Let’s start off with the glam option. This is the kinda outfit I channel on holiday with flats or if I’m invited to a wedding or a posh do with strappy heels. I adore the burgundy, purple shade and the detailing, thanks to the different shoulder detail and the side knot tie. It’s very slinky but feels lovely on and really comfy to wear, without feeling too revealing.

The Lace Up Jumper Dress

Jumper dresses are my thang and when I spotted this one on the Tobi website, it was a no-brainer and went straight in my basket! It’s super comfy thanks to the thick material and the lace up detail makes it stand-out and adds interest to your look. I like to layer a roll neck underneath and wear with tights and calf-length chunky heeled boots. I’ve also paired it with my burgundy cross-body bag from Accessorize as I love these two colours together.

The Off The Shoulder Dress

Off the shoulder dresses scream summer and oh my, how ready are we for a bit of sun? But, that doesn’t mean this dress has to stay tucked in the wardrobe until spring finally arrives…
The off the shoulder ruffle detail is so cute and I pair this with think black tights and my fave lilac closed toe heels to add some colour to the outfit. Throw together with a brightly coloured bag and a big statement necklace and you’re ready to go!
