Beauty // Epionce Lite Refresh Peel Review

I’m sure you’re quite aware that I’m into skincare and I enjoy discovering and trialling new skincare products on the regular. But, when it comes to having treatments and caring for my skin – both old and new, I’m not quite as up to date.
When I was younger I had a terrible bout of acne and saw a dermatologist when I was in my early teens, but since my mid-twenties, my skin has been pretty plain sailing, settling down into being relatively normal skin with the odd hormonal spot every now and again.
So, when Pharmaesthetics in Ormskirk got in touch inviting me along to trial the Epionce Lite Refresh Peel, I was intrigued to say the least! Designed to hydrate, exfoliate and clear pores, the non-abrasive treatment was not as scary as a full peel, but my skin definitely felt the difference and was in need of some TLC.

The Treatment

Alison was super friendly and welcoming, getting an understanding of my skin and its behaviour prior to the treatment and explaining each step in detail.

The treatment starting by cleansing my skin with a double cleanse and removing an traces of the moisturiser I’d applied that morning, so my skin was clean and ready to apply the treatment products. Each of the products had their own job, as you’d expect and prepped my face for the peel.
Whilst it sounds slightly daunting, it wasn’t at all. The peel was applied and whilst I knew it wasn’t going to be painful, I was warned it would be slightly uncomfortable and you’re aware you’re having a treatment. Which is the perfect explanation!
As you can see from the before and after photos, the peel did exactly what it was supposed to – bringing any under the skin blemishes to the surface, minimised my pores and showed the sensitive areas of my face that benefited from the treatment – mainly my cheeks and chin which were slightly red after the treatment.
As the skin was fresh, I applied skincare with an SPF 50 rigorously the days after the treatment and have been applying underneath my make up ever since. Seven days after the treatment, my skin feels softer, fresher and as a big skincare fan, I feel as though my products are sitting better on my skin and performing as they’re supposed to.
I’d really recommend the Epionce product range. Not only do they smell lovely but they feel lovely when applied to the skin. As you can see from the before and after photos below, my skin looks a lot healthier and brighter. The treatment is advised to take place every 6-8 weeks and I can totally see why….I’m sold!

*I was offered a complimentary treatment in return for a complimentary review. Thank you!
