Recipe // Porridge Bowl With Coconut, Blueberries & Pago Drinks

Since the turn of the year I’ve swerved the idea of eating well as part of any new years resolution, but I’m back in the Slimming World zone with my meal planning and variety of meals.
So, I thought I’d kick off getting back into the swing of recipe posts with a new recipe post. I generally tend to have porridge or muesli for my breakkie and with winter being well and truly underway, porridge and a mango Pago Fruit JuicePago Fruit Juice is a good place to start!

Vanilla Porridge with Shredded Coconut, Blueberries & Peanut Butter

Ingredients 

  • Porridge oats
  • Vanilla extract
  • Blueberries
  • Almond milk
  • Shredded coconut
  • Peanut butter

Choosing porridge toppings is my fave as it’s the easiest way to add flavour and pimp up your breakfast! I decided to add shredded coconut, blueberries and peanut butter to mine.

I also like to have a glass of Pago fruit juice too. I was recently introduced to the brand and they have loads of different flavours on offer. We like the mango juice as it literally tastes of fresh fruit juice. The green glass bottles may be small but they’re packed with flavour making Pago a fab wake me up in the morning!
Ape snacks are another brand I love. From the fun branding on the boxes and packaging, to the variety of flavours, I’m such a fan. I initially talked about them in my healthy snacks post and they’re perfect for using to top your porridge. I chose to use the coconut curls as they taste delicious with fruit or eaten alone.
