Blogmas // Festive Party Looks with Sleek Cosmetics

It’s that time of the year when Instagram is awash with photos of Christmas parties. The annual works do is such an event in the calendar with all your pals planning what everyone’s wearing, are pre-drinks happening beforehand and who’s going out-out afterwards. But for me, the party starts at home when I start doing my make up!
I love getting glammed up as I’m not really an out-out person and I tend to wear a full face on the daily anyway, so the opportunity to look even more extra and add a whole lot more sass to my look.
One of my fave brands of the moment is Sleek Make UP. I’m sure you’ve gathered by now that I’m a fan of the budget make up brands that don’t cost the earth but have products worth investing in.

Sleek is up there in my book on both counts! The Hella Good Eyes Set is perfect for creating loads of different eye looks. Complete with two full eyeshadow palettes, take your pick from either the bronze/brown toned palette or the darker shades in the second palette.
I swear by a bronze eye and it’s my everyday go-to when I’m painting my make up on my face at half 6 every morning so the lighter palette is a god-send.
I’ve always been one to mix a few different shades together and the mix of lighter and darker shades are ideal for just that.
The darker toned palette is my new evening bae. It’s my works do this Friday and I’m wearing burgundy so I’m planning on a dark smokey eye…you can’t go wrong, can you?
I’m planning on blending the plum toned shades and adding a touch of the gold shades from the lighter palette into my crease.

And, is it even Christmas if you don’t wear a red lip? These two matte lipglosses from Sleek are amazing. Honestly, I’ve not stopped wearing them.
The lighter shade is perf for the daytime whilst I’m too excited to wear the darker shade on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve!
They smell lovely, are really fast drying and don’t feel as drying as some matte lippies normally do. I can’t wait to pick a couple up in nude for the new year and pinky shades for work. Obsessed!

  1. love Sleek Makeup! These palettes look absolutely gorgeous – especially the bronze palette, it would look so good with a nude lip. I have the sleep highlighting palette which is my best friend basically, and for Christmas I got a set of the matte me metallic lipsticks! Lovely post!
