As a blogger and outreach gal, working and blogging in Liverpool, I really get the feeling that Liverpool is on the cusp of being the latest destination for blogging and influencers. With so many amazing bloggers and YouTubers creating fab content in around the city, co-hosting the online retailer, Instant Beauty Fix’s first blogger showcase event at The ClubHouse in L1 was an absolute joy.
It’s rare that I get to talk about my job on my blog, but when the brand ethos and products appeals to our core influencer database, we had a feeling the event was going to be a good one and it’s a pleasure to be able to share it with you!
The event essentials were easy – a handful of beauty bloggers we know will engage with the brand and their variety of bloggers, a photogenic, open space we can sit and chat about all things IBF and lush food and drink…I like to think we delivered on all three!
Instant Beauty Fix is an online retailer who opened their shop doors back in 2003, stocking all of the glam essentials us gals need to feel our best. Skincare, make up accessories and tools, fake tan…the list goes on. With so many fab brands stocked under the retailer’s umbrella and a variety of products that most of us already love and others that we quickly learnt we now need…the blogger event was a great way to showcase what Instant Beauty Fix are all about and have in store. Literally!
We also need to give kudos to the fab team at The ClubHouse L1 for providing us with the private dining room and keeping those prosseco glasses topped up…a must for any sassy blogger event! The scene was set and the table was decorated with personalised cupcakes for each of the attendees, branded Instant Beauty Fix cupcakes and plus, those too from our amazing sweet treat sponsor, Intercake!
Once the Insta opportunities were over, we began to tuck into the delicious sharing platters and chatted about the variety of products we lovingly laid across the table. The Brow Shaper, Glitter Lips, The Makeup Hand Palette and Pony Dry were just a handful that we discussed at length and all of the bloggers were keen to give the products a go!
It was so great to able to help the online brand transcend offline and showcase to the our bloggers what the brand and products are all about! It was such a fab night and a real success – here’s to many more* (fingers crossed!)
