Any blogger worth their weight in Instagram posts has their favourite cafes and restaurants which they regularly visit due to a number of reasons; super cute and Instagrammable decor, amazing food and great drinks. So when I was recently invited to a ‘Bloggers Brunch’ at Space Coffee on Aigburth Road I jumped at the chance as it’s known on social media for being serious goals.
Space Coffee was really easy to find from Aigburth train station and once we were welcomed by the lovely team at SK Events PR team, we were shown outside to the beautifully colourful terrace area. I was at Space Coffee to attend a ‘Bloggers Brunch’ afternoon. In total, there were 5 of us in attendance and the weather was perfect for it!
Once we took a look at the menu, we were seriously spoilt for choice! With a choice of breakfast foods, burgers, sandwiches and this bad boy…the fish finger sandwich! I’m a sucker for a fish finger buttie at the best of times, but once I found out it came on bloomer bread with a side of sweet potato fries, I was sold!
And I can honestly say…it was delicious! Seriously filling yet so yummy. I also loved the side of sauces that came with it. For me, no food fish finger sandwich is complete without tartar sauce, so it really hit the spot. Like I mentioned early, the weather was spot on and the terrace was the perfect suntrap. I loved the brightly coloured decor and the bee memorial was a lovely tribute to the recent Manchester bombing.
I decided to round my meal off with a caramel iced latte, which was just gorgeous. Really filling and just the right amount of coffee for a quick caffeine hit! Space Coffee are also known for their cakes – the bigger the better seems to be the order of the day and the cupcakes were amazing! I tucked into one of the cheesecake cupcakes, which no joke, was one of the best I’ve ever tried. Honestly, I can’t wait to go back for another cake and iced coffee!
But if you do have a sweet tooth, check out the unicorn cupcake below. Maybe I need to sample one of those too!
