Fashion // Met Quarter Xmas Preview

The big C isn’t too far away so now’s the time to start getting excited, planning when to decorate the tree and discover just how many presents you need. Or, it’s a time to starting thinking about what to add to your own wishlist to unwrap on the 25th December!

Back in October, I was invited along to attend the Met Quarter press day to have a sneaky peek at their upcoming Christmas stock! The Met Quarter is a luxury shopping centre based in the centre of Liverpool, but sadly it’s one I very rarely venture too. With a variety of high street and designer brands housed under one stylish roof, I was excited to see what MAC Cosmetics were planning to release in time for Christmas and has a nosey at the made.com pop-up shop so I could just imagine actually buying a new sofa and you know, furniture that actually matches for my house…

Anyway, back to the event! I arrived at the showroom space in the Met Quarter to be greeted by the PR team who were hosting the preview. I was shown around the different collections and was suitably impressed with the gorgeous clothing, boots and bags on offer!

Daniel Footwear is one of those brands that I always seen featured on blogs and in press, yet I hadn’t actually marvelled at their products in person…until now that is! I’m such a big fan of boots as soon as autumn and winter rolls around as it is, but I didn’t need any persuading when it came to their ankle boots. Mock croc and burgundy velvet were the trends of the day and so in season for this time of year.

As well as boots, I’m obsessed with handbags so I loved looking at the beautiful pom pom charms in every colour under the rainbow.
The preview was such a good size and I loved how it was a drop-in event so you could leisurely look at each brand and item in your own time! Plus, it helped in spreading a little festive cheer which is always welcome at this time of year!
