Payday Wish List: Jan Picks

It’s been a while since I last blogged and even longer since I last posted a wishlist but with payday only 3 days away, it seems fitting to blog about what I’m gonna fritter my money away on come Friday. I’ve recently become obsessed with Gossip Girl having discovered it on Netflix and missing the hype the first time round and kinda want everything in Serena’s wardrobe, so this pair of double buckle geek shoes from Topshop are just the right side of preppy. Green is my absolutely favourite colour so when I first spotted this skirt on Lily Melrose’s blog I knew I had to have it. I love the jacquard floral print and its perfect for summer and winter. I tried this lovely leopard print dress from River Island on in store about a week ago and it fit really well and I love the colour and print but just couldn’t decide on whether it would date really quickly or not. I still love it and at £25 I think I’m defo gonna …

2013- Yearly Round-Up

A popular blog post that is doing the rounds at the moment is the 2013 round up post. Last New Years I was really sad to see the back of 2012 as it was such a fun, awesome year and I didn’t know if 2013 could live up to the hype. These are just a snap shot of my highlights! I took the train down to London in February for the day to attend London Fashion Weekend. It was a great day and fab to see the shows. We had an amazing summer and after work each night I went on walks in the sunshine with my dog- Buttons. …

I decided to give learning to drive a second attempt. Having initially began to learn when I was younger and then subsequently quit as it got a little too stressful, I decided 2013 was the year I would master heavy machinery. So how did I get on? Well its a work in progress, but 12 months and 2 failed theory tests later, I’m still working on it. But the main thing is, I’m actually starting to like it. I mean I don’t love it and sure as hell can’t see myself with my own car in the near future, but I’m still working at it which is the main thing and hopefully 2014 will be the year I pass. Maybe.  I’ll keep you posted on that one. So back to the matter at …
