Wonderful Weekends

Like I said in last weekend’s post, it’s nice to mix things up and venture out in a new place and Friday evening saw a second trip to London town. A couple of girls from work and I decided to go down to London for the evening and stay in Shoreditch. We went out in Hoxton Square and decided to go to Bills for dinner.

I’ve heard lots of good things about Bills on Twitter and on blogs, and we weren’t disappointed. Described as the perfect place to eat from ‘breakfast to bedtime’, the menu had lots to choose from at not too astronomical prices, which is always a bonus.

We decided to share the Mezze starter which was lovely and then I opted for the Macaroni Cheese. These pictures were taken on my Blackberry, so unfortunately the quality is rubbish.

Then on Saturday I was up and on a train to Manchester to go meet up with my Mum to go watch Wicked! at the Palace Theatre. It was absolutely fantastic and well worth the 12 month wait since we booked the tickets! It’s only on till the 13th November, so if you get the chance it is worth a visit. We were 3 rows from the front and had an excellent view.

After the show we went to Geo Giorgio for something to eat, which is our number one go to when we are on Oxford Road. It has been a fantastic weekend, but I was so ready to chill today and catch up on blog reading and Breaking Bad!  Standard Sunday behaviour.
