What to wear in winter: River Island Edit

Since we changed months and moved into November, we also seem to have drastically changed seasons. After what felt like the longest Summer and lovely warm days that only warranted a leather jacket and ballet pumps, we are now headed straight towards Winter. Ballet pumps have been replaced by boots and my leather jacket has gone into storage till Spring. So, the change in the weather means I get to switch up my wardrobe! These are my top picks for the new season from River Island. Roll on pay day! What are you coveting this season?

Wonderful Weekends

Like I said in last weekend’s post, it’s nice to mix things up and venture out in a new place and Friday evening saw a second trip to London town. A couple of girls from work and I decided to go down to London for the evening and stay in Shoreditch. We went out in Hoxton Square and decided to go to Bills for dinner. I’ve heard lots of good things about Bills on Twitter and on blogs, and we weren’t disappointed. Described as the perfect place to eat from ‘breakfast to bedtime’, the menu had lots to choose from at not too astronomical prices, which is always a bonus. We decided to share the Mezze starter which was lovely and then I opted for the Macaroni Cheese. These pictures were taken on my Blackberry, so unfortunately the quality is rubbish.     Then on Saturday I was up and on a train to Manchester to go meet up with my Mum to go watch Wicked! at the Palace Theatre.
