This week to beat the Monday blues, my bestie and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and book a holiday off work and take a trip to the Sea Life Manchester which has recently opened at Barton Square at the Trafford Centre in the North West. My bestie’s little girl is 14 months and starting to walk and understand different animals and her latest favourite is fish so what better place to visit!
When we first arrived at the Trafford Centre, we drove down to the John Lewis end, but I must admit it isn’t sign-posted too well so we struggled to find exactly where the Sea Life centre is located. We decided to go for brunch in Giraffe and then made our way over to Barton Square. There were quite a couple of parties of school kids visiting also which slowed us down but all in a all it was a good day. We used the family of 2 ticket with a child under 3 free for £28. At £14 a piece, it wasn’t bad but it would have been better if there were more interactive pools. There isn’t an option to feed the fish or turtles but there are many different species, and lots to look at which definitely keeps kids entertained. It is worth the visit if you want to get out and about with kids during the summer holidays but without the hassle of travelling too far. I would defo recommend a visit!
