Real life V Reality

James Arthur was victorious last weekend taking The X Factor crown with a 54% majority vote over runner-up Jahmene Douglas but our Twitter feed was soley focused on the drama un-folding regarding third place finalist, Chris Maloney.

Since he was booted out the competition during Saturday’s show, he appears to have taken the news quite badly and suffered from a reality tv breakdown on his twitter feed. The drama started to unravel on Sunday afternoon with reports coming through from Manchester that Maloney had turned up to the studio drunk after partying in the city the previous night.
.

He was late for rehersals for the group song on Sunday night’s final show and reportedly, an argument broke out with fellow Over’s finalist, Carolynne Poole with Christopher calling her a c**t!

X Factor spokesmen quickly released a statement saying Christopher had declined from taking part in Sunday show and was returning to Liverpool. But, cryptically on Maloney’s twitter feed, Maloney said he had been signed off the performance by the ITV doctor due to a sore throat.

All the finalists appeared on Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack and Olly Murs to celebrate James’ win, whilst Christopher once again took to his twitter feed to claim “@CarolynnePoole you’ll do anything to get a headline! Disgraceful! Week one! Bitter”.

He continued in his shame spiral by claiming he was being bullied on the hit show “Yes I am being bullied. big time, There u go xx Witch hunt xx”. Despite his claims Maloney took the time to make a nod to his former mentor, Gary Barlow MBE, to thank him for his efforts.

With a tour set to take place on 2013, only time will tell if Maloney will still be on the bill? Something tells us he won’t…….
