Kate Preggers?!

So here it is in writing on Wednesday 28th November 2012 at 11pm. I think the nations Princess, Kate Middleton is pregnant. I don’t normally blog about royalty but I feel the need to date- stamp my prediction if you will. It all began with the new hair. This is a fantastic way to take the worlds glare away from an impending bump. Next up was the green dress at the BFC British Fashion Awards. Kate has a very feminine, streamlined look yet she chose a bright green billowing dress. Yes, it was teamed with a black patent skinny belt but all pics from evening showed Kate placing her hands across her stomach and using a bag to accessorise and maybe, disguise her stomach. Kate and Wills have been wed for over 18 months now. We had the celebratory wedding in which we truly took to our hearts. Time for a baby? I’m betting yes. Watch this space……

It’s Rylan Style…

We all though they had kissed and made up with OBE Gary Barlow giving X Factor hopeful Rylan Clarke a glowing review two weeks ago on Saturdays show and admitting he was warming to the Essex star but Rylan has hit back via his Twitter feed last week to a slating he received from Barlow at a charity event. Rylan, known for his outlandish performances on the ITV show, asking the audience at the event about Rylan and even went as far as saying he might even be honest this Saturday and tel Rylan hs performace was ‘absolute shite’. The playful banter between the two is widely reported both on and off the stage but it seems Gary has gone a little too far. Rylan used his Twitter feed to put his feelings across and tweeted “I’d rather be ‘absolute s***’ than just stand there and sing the same old stuff every week on the spot… #boreme @GBarlowOfficial. He even went as far as making a reference to rival BBC show, The Voice. But, it …

The truth about Chezza

She’s the girl we all love to read about but notoriously keeps her private life just that. Well, until the ITV2 documentary with Ms Cheryl Cole was showed last week giving us an access all areas look into her life and a glimpse at her new boyfriend, Tre Holloway. Ms Cole was au naturale during the filming of the ITV2 show ‘Cheryl Cole Access All Areas’, which showed  all the behind the scenes action on her recent ‘A Million Lights’ tour across the UK. The shy singer explaned her battles with anxiety, her passion for performing and maybe a little too revealingly, her growing love for new boyfriend Tre. Cheryl tweeted yesterday afternoon stating she ‘cringed’ watching the show back but it gave her the chance to fight back at the paparazzi and expain what goes on behind closed doors. Viewers got to see a rare glimpse of off-duty Cheryl with no make-up and happily kissing and flirting during the making of the show. Cheryl was seen laughing and joking with her all-american backing dancers and …

‘Live, Laugh, Love’

It’s been a while since I offered a little life-update on here so here goes…. Since April I have been working for Matalan as Online Copywriter which is a job I absolutely love. It’s amazing to work within the E-Commerce dept of such a busy team and see the team grow. Plus the added bonus of looking at oh-so pretty clothes and getting spending-envy on a daily basis is kinda cool. I have had my space on the inter-web now for over two years and it still surprises how far the blogging community has come since the Summer of 2010 when I set up my blog. Bloggers are at the fore-front of fashion, with ‘higher profile’ bloggers acting as models in campaigns such as Miss Selfridge. One part of my 9-5 which I love is blogger outreach and getting to know the girls and guys behind the outfit posts. It is through blogs that I discover a must-have dress and blogs are often my first point of purchase. The fact that someones blog becomes daily reading …

Cath Kidston Wish List

I have always been a handbag girl. I’m generally not one for heels but oh I do love a bag and my latest love is Cath Kidston. The fabulous florals and spotty dotty prints are just so girly and perfect for everyday yet whimsical enough to feel like your in a fairytale. Having recently made my very first Cath Kidston purchase I am now a very proud owner of the light green and white spotted day bag and it’s safe to say it was love at first site. So much so that just a week later during a trip to the Trafford Centre I *accidentally* ended up purchasing a beautiful pale blue floral phone case, oopsie… So, with that in mind here is my Cath wish-list taken from the oh-so pretty website…… 1. Notting Hill Rose Day Bag– £48.00  2.  Small Spot Zip Bag– £24.00 3. Spot Weekend Bag– £65.00                4. Trailing Floral Day Bag– £48.00

Going-out Glam @ Next

When I think party season, glitz, glamour sequins and sparkle come to mind. In my book it’s all about dressing up, feeling good but cos I’m lazy I want minimal effort. My fail-safe item every Winter seems to be a fitted jacket. Whether it is  blazer or a leather I rely on a great-fitting jacked to complete my look. So, lets fast-forward to the present day. When I think of emulating a gorgeous look, Mrs Jamie Hince a la Kate Moss is the stand-out icon in my book. The way she rocks timeless pieces and isn’t afraid to re-hash her favourite black blazer every season makes her the reigning catwalk queen. Every year we go on the hunt up and down the high street searching for ‘the’ dress when in actual fact we tend to purchase a failsafe LDB so I think this Christmas I’m going to take a leaf out of Kate’s book and dig my favourite dress from last season out again and team it with a silver sequin jacket to update it and drag …

My Jeans Journey

Jeans are a fantastic staple in my wardrobe but I don’t know about you but I find it such a nightmare to track down the perfect pair. Finding the right fit, shape and colour is such a hard task as the high street is constantly changing and evolving to incorperate the latest trends and styles so the classic denim jean is never just that. Now, I am a typical pair shape (read small waist big hips, stomach region) and the low-rise styles just don’t flatter. I like a higher waist, a comfortable fit and a darker denim whilst a skinny-leg fit to offer shape. In my recent quest I managed to find the holy grail of the denim world. One minute I was browsing New Look without a care in the world eyeing up a gorgeous hue berry blouse then there they were. A skinny-fit, high waisted washed denim effect jean with a slight stretch just casually chilling between the boot-cut and boyfriend styles. With a 12 and 14 firmly tucked under my arm I headed to the changing …

Cocktail Hour

On Thursday I made a trip to one of my favourite cities, Manchester, for the Jessie Ware gig at Sound Control. I love gigs in manc as it means I get to book the day off work, go for a lovely meal and have a coupla cocktails!  Oh and celeb spot as we saw Lydia Rose Bright from towie launching something fashion-related in the Arndale. In a silver dress with a 20’s inspired hair-do she looked gorge. My fangirling is growing! On this particular trip I decided to treat myself to a new fooundation. I have been wearing Mac Studio Fix for a couple of years now but read so much about Estee Lauder Double Wear and wanted to try it. I got matched up at the Estee Lauder stand in Selfridges. The MA tried 3 shades on me and I settled on the dersert beige shade. As I am naturally very pale and I don’t tan or use bronzer! I got a free double ended Double Wear concealer and mascara as well which was nice. …

Weekend Blues

So, this weekend has been rubbish! After feelimg the beginning of a cold setting in on Friday I woke up yesterday to find it had set in and continued on today. A lazy Sunday isn’t all bad though. I have recently got hooked on Dexter so today was the day I started season 2. I’m only 3 episodes in so far but it’s great. It’s true what people say as the twists do really reel you in. After a couple of days I wanted something easy to watch and chose Sex and the City 2.  Well, I hadn’t watched it since it came out at the pictures and this afternoon I remembered why! However it was nice to spend the afternoon with Carrie and co. During X Factor yesterday was the new Matalan Christmas ad. It was so exciting to see it on the telly after the buzz surrounding it in work. Le t me know what you think!!
