In the summertime….

Well this weekend has been lovely. I received some really exciting news last week so I have gone a little overboard and celebrated like mad. Friday was a trip to a new indian restaurant I havent tried before and then cocktails, countless vodka and lemo’s and lots of dancing. Saturday brought the sunshine, a hangover and a gig watching a Peal Jam cover band- Lost Dogs. Amazing. The preggers bestie is nearly the end now and little pip shall be poppin’ so it was her last proper night out before parenthood begins which was really nice. And that brings me to today- dog walking, duck feeding and watchin the ma attempt to mow the lawn in the sunshine. In a word- lovely.

The sunshine and this countrys way of making a slight sun-trap moment a boderline heatwave made finding all my summer clothes and digging my sandels out from the depths of my wardrobe a lot harder. With a baby shower and hen do looming in the next few weeks I am once again on that ever-lasting hunt for ‘The Perfect Dress’. Now, its safe to say whenever an event is on the cards I require a new outfit- its pretty much a requirement and I seem to forget about all the dresses from times gone by that I have spied, bought and loved. But alas, here I am again scouring the net for my next dress- fix. I feel these little beauty’s may be a contender……
